These courses can also provide the opportunity to learn about healthy relationships and how to leave an abusive one.
Training and development can also provide a safe space for women to connect with others who have experienced similar situations. This can provide a sense of community, belonging, and support, which can be invaluable in helping them to heal from their experiences. Our programmes have been accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) level 2 and 3 courses and are tailored to develop leadership skills in young people who are unemployed and employed to get management qualifications. ILM is the management arm of City and Guilds.
We recognise that many have issues they have to get over in terms of their personal lives in order to be successful professionally. We assign mentors for each student to help them integrate their learning into their lives and help develop progression routes into training and development, employment or develop their own enterprises.
